Start by adding half the seasoning, minced garlic, lime juice and 1/2 teaspoon salt to the chicken. Set aside for 10 minutes. Heat olive oil in a pan and add the meat to the pan and cook for 10-12 minutes till is cooked through and slightly crispy, add onions and bell peppers to the pan. Add the remaining seasoning and stir fry for 3-4 minutes on high heat. Serve with cooked quinoa topped with chopped parsley. 2 Beef and broccoli 390 calories (1 serving) Ingredients 1 tsp lime juice 1 garlic 1 tsp low-sodium soy sauce 2 tbsp low-sodium broth 1 tsp honey 1 tsp olive oil 4 oz lean beef 4 oz broccoli florets salt & black pepper 1/2 cup chickpeas combine broth, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and lime juice. Heat a large skillet over high heat. add oil and beef. cook for 3 minutes per side, add sauce to skillet and then add broccoli. Season with salt and pepper. Let simmer 8 to 10 minutes until broccoli and steak are cooked through add chickpeas. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve. 3 veggie fried rice 340 calories (1 serving) Ingredients 1 tsp olive oil 1 garlic 1 tsp ginger grated 2 eggs 1/2 cup brown rice cooked 2 oz spinach 1/3 cup peas 1 tsp soy sauce Directions Add the garlic and ginger and stir fry with oil for one minute. Crack the eggs directly into the pan and push them around in the pan until barely cooked, 1-2 minutes. Add the rice and stir fry for a few minutes, the eggs should sort of incorporate and stick to the rice. Add the peas, and soy sauce and stir fry for another 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat,and serve! 4 Ground turkey and cabbage stir fry 400 calories (6 serving) Ingredients 1 tsp olive oil 4 oz ground turkey 1/4 medium onion 1/2 medium carrot, grated 1 garlic 1 tsp giner grated 3 tbsp broth 1 cup cabbage 1 medium Green onion 1 tsp soy sauce salt and black pepper Directions start by cooking ground turkey with oil. Cook for 5-6 minutes, or until turkey is almost cooked through. Push turkey to the side of the pan and add onion and saute for 3-4 minutes. Add shredded carrots, garlic, green onion and ginger and saute for 2 minutes. Stir the vegetables and turkey together. Pour broth in the pan and add cabbage, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir well and cover with a lid. and cook for 12-15 minutes on low, or until cabbage is to your desired tenderness. These 4 workouts are designed burn lots of calories and tone your muscles with fun cardio segments and tough sculpting exercises. You will use various equipment as well as just your body weight to chisel and define your entire body. These are total body workouts that will get a lot done in minimum time! Shape Up Band is a total body workout with cardio and strength training. You will start with 5 slower paced old school cardio exercises to warm up the body and familiarize you with the moves. You will then alternate between 5 lower body loop exercises on one side, then the same 5 cardio exercises at a faster pace, 5 lower body loop exercises on the other side, back to the cardio, 5 shoulder exercises using the band, back to the cardio, 5 chest exercises also with the band, back to the cardio, 5 standing abs exercises, one last round of cardio and finally 5 back extension exercises with the band. You will be rewarded with a long stretch to lengthen the muscles to finish. Equipment needed: Pilates resistance band, resistance loop and chair. Ankle Weight Workout Video BARLATES BODY BLITZ Double Burn Ankle Weights https://youtu.be/_8soaYEmSVg This is a video clip of the full length Double Burn Cardio Ankle Weight workout, which you can purchase as a download or on DVD here: Welcome to the Double Burn Series, a set of workouts that will challenge your body from every angle. You will use a double set principle where you perform 2 different intensity levels of one exercises to fully fatigue the muscle. Each workout will use various pieces of equipment as well as your body weight to increase the challenge. You will work from the hardest to the easiest level with lots of variations to keep thing interesting. Each workout is a total body workout with warm up and stretch at the end. In Double Burn Ankle Weights you will start with some squat and lunge combinations to warm up your entire body. Then move to 2 lower body groupings - elevated squats with side leg raises and a tough inner thigh series using the step for extra range of motion. Then 2 upper body groupings - an incline biceps curl and seated shoulder upright row series using the ball to lean against, and a side lateral raise to angled front push combination. Then 2 core groupings - a standing abs set with side knee ups and an elevated up and over lower ab tuck combinations that will really burn your belly. Finish with a lengthening stretch. Fitness level: Intermediate/advanced Equipment: various hand weights, ankle weights, a step or other elevation and fit ball (optional).
